Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, signing in, uploading content, or using the Redense service (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address or by prominent notice within the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
2. The Service
Redense is a free resume formatting tool. You write the content of your resume in the editor; the Service typesets it in a dense one-page LaTeX template and compiles a PDF. No AI rewriting is performed on your content.
The Service is currently offered free of charge. Accounts are limited to a small number of saved drafts (currently three). We reserve the right to introduce paid features in the future; if we do, we will update these Terms and notify registered users.
3. Your Content and License
You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service (resumes, files, text, etc.) ("Your Content"). You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit Your Content and that doing so does not violate any third party's rights.
You grant Redense a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account.
No AI processing: Your Content is not sent to any AI provider for rewriting. The only third-party processing involved in producing your PDF is a LaTeX compile worker that converts the generated LaTeX source into a PDF.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or otherwise harmful;
- Misrepresent your professional history, credentials, or identity in a manner that could deceive employers or other third parties;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying source code, models, or templates;
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service without prior written permission;
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or its output as part of another product or service;
- Interfere with the Service's operation, including by overwhelming it with requests or probing for security vulnerabilities.
5. Pricing
The Service is currently free. There are no subscriptions, one-time purchases, or hidden fees. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and notify registered users before any charge applies.
6. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We use email-based authentication and OAuth (Google) and do not store user passwords.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is"and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You are solely responsible for reviewing every word of your resume before submitting it to any employer or third party. We do not guarantee employment outcomes.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Redense, its operators, contractors, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising under or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty US dollars ($50), whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Redense and its operators from any claim, demand, loss, or damages — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service, or (c) your violation of these Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
12. Contact

By using Redense, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them.
